Inspired to Inspire

Hi, there!

It's been a while since my last post. Today, I'm going to share my experience.

I was born in a 'financially-okay-family'. Here I mean that my parents could support my primary needs such as eating three times a day, living in a comfortable house, and so on. But when I was in an elementary school, I always watched my friends who could buy any toys they wanted with envy. Some of them just needed to get a normal score around 70 in any quizes to make it happen. Some even just needed to whine in front of their parents. On the other hand, I had to study with my senior's old books or the photocopied one in case my mother didn't get them. Moreover, I always had to get above 90 in every exams just in order to avoid my mother from wipping me or just locking me in the toilet. I roughly didn't even get the appreciation I deserved from always being the top 3 in the whole class every year. But one thing that I can assure you is that my parents really loved me despite the way they treated me. For that reason, I've always been dreaming to be a billionaire so that I could fulfill anything I and most importantly, my family wants.

The story went on. Because of my excellence in academic, I got a full-scholarship to pursue my high school in the capital city. First of all, I would like to introduce you two types of student there in general. The first one was an academically-gifted-students from a 'poor' family who existed only upto 5 students in each generation. The other was a student coming from a rich family but didn't get any acceptance from other good schools. You could imagine how different we were. It's even worse there. I had to complete thorough details such as doing extremely well on every subjects, winning olympiad, and obeying stupid rules at school and dorm just in order to get the scholarship in the following year. The school was not that prestigious but the tuition was one-third of my father's income. That's why I was afraid when I was asked to sign the contract at that time. But my dream pumped my guts to do so. I finally ended up there. At that school, I found a friend whose family was really close to me. They were really rich even though their appearances didn't say so. I often was asked to spend some nights at their house and join their vacation. Also, it's not a few times for them to give me branded shirts, souvenirs, and etc. But the most important thing that I gained from them is the essence of life.

Looking back, I proudly say that my life has shaped me into a man who I always see in the mirror. From what I've learnt, it was not achieving a goal such as being a billionaire that will make us happy. It's the long process that you will always remember. It's your courage that will inspire others. It's the impact on other people that will leave you with an everlasting happiness.
